My New Checkout Stand

After seeing recent posts in a Facebook group for vendors about what they do for the checkout area of their booths and checking out several examples of homemade folding checkout stands, I decided I had to make one too....lol. So, one week and about $100 later....I finished my new folding checkout stand. Very pleased with how it came out. The top is 20" x 40" and it's 40" tall. Did it about 95% all by my self. Just had help cutting the sheet of 1/2" plywood down. Had to go to six thrift stores to find the oval frame that I wanted. The image on the sides....is the tattoo on my right arm. It was fun to finally paint it...twice...lol. The frame comes off for travel so the goofy bouquet of sewing notions won't get messed up. Only thing I'm not happy with is that I set and glued the scrollwork piece above the frame like three inches too low. I meant for the frame and everything to be higher than it is but, too late now. At least it's centered and not crooked. The sign I hand painted and the frame, I had this vision of a bouquet of sewing notions in my head. I kind of over did it a little...lol....but, it's cute.
